First Oversize under our Authority

Well it's been a couple of stressful days

Yesterday after getting a check engine light and error codes, Daryl did some research and it was found a sensor needed replacement. Thankfully between Daryl and my dad they were able to make the repairs without shop time, however, that shut us down for a day after an early morning delivery. Then today after booking a load we had an airline debacle that delayed us for a few hours, but again, Daryl and Dad to the rescue for yet another repair without shop time!

Happy to say after multiple attempts at booking over the last few weeks we FINALLY are able to branch into oversized/over dimensional world!

OS/OD is a bit more convoluted than legal loads due to the strict permitting and hours of operation allowed by each state. Makes it tricky because in each state the requirements differ. In Texas an OS/OD load can only move a half hour before dawn and a half hour after dusk during daylight hours, and in specific counties (like Tarrant county) there's no movement allowed between 7-9am and 4-6pm, certain roads and highways are allowed to be driven on, and the routing can be a pain in the ass, so it makes travel difficult and trip planning a little hinky, especially when truck repairs cause unexpected delays

But either way, we are super excited to finally get to have the opportunity to diversify our company

*Note - We are aware there is no 'Oversize' sign on the rear. Daryl took pics and video for the broker before adding that sign.
