Thankful...This word has taken on a whole new meaning to me over the last year or so in so many ways, especially over the last few months. I truly have much to be thankful for, and my sense of gratitude runs deep.
I'm so incredibly thankful for my family and friends., both blood and by choice. They are unorthodox, unconventional, quirky and a whole crap ton of crazy but they are so supportive and encouraging and they are who keep me going day in and day out. My tribe is one of a kind, they are ride or die and fiercely loyal. Without them, hell who knows what kinda crazy I'd be (more than I already am that's for sure lol)
I'm thankful for the opportunity that we've been given to make our little dream of Virago Transport LLC a reality. As stressful and exhausting as it's been, especially with the current market, I wouldn't change the decision to pull the trigger on our little operation. And I'm so incredibly thankful for our little band of Virago supporters. That support helps keep our spirits up when the weight of it all gets a bit too heavy to bear.
I'm thankful for those who aren't able to be home with their families, whichever industry sector they may be in, thank you for your service, time, and sacrifice. Be safe out there!

In other news (trucking related), I've been falling short on posting about the goings on of our little business...Y'all it's been quite the mentally draining and exhausting last couple of weeks with the current market and these crazy low rates and the crazier expectation from brokers and shippers that people can actually haul at these dirt cheap prices and afford to keep fuel in the truck and rolling, but I digress (that will be another post lol)...
I'm excited to report that after only 3 months in operation Virago Transport LLC has secured it's first "direct customer"!!!
No middle man taking their over inflated cut, just us and the customer, building a relationship and man it feels amazing!
Daryl and Drake will be headed out early tomorrow morning to Little Rock, AR to pick up our first load of many (with any luck) and I'm absolutely taken aback by the fact that we have our own customer (thanks to word of mouth from an awesome member of our tribe). We had no plans of being in the hay hauling business but here we are, apparently in the hay hauling business lol
Over the next few weeks I'll be putting out some posts about our company, asking for some shares on your page if you so feel moved to do so! The saying "if it fits, it sits" is our motto! And we are in the business to put in work!
I hope everyone is enjoying their day, may the carbs and tryptophan treat you right and may the elastic in your waistband hold strong LOL
From our family to yours, happy holidays!
