On the road again

Literally my life right now Like herding cats in this brain of mine

Virago Transport LLC is headed out for the week enroute to Nashville, TN (I'll be handling the business affairs from home base for a while after that while Daryl hits the road solo for a while).

This momma needs to be present in the young one's life and get our house life back in order now the the business is up and rolling.

So far today I've already almost had a silent mini panic attack When we arrived at the shipper and saw not a single step deck being loaded, only flatbeds Went into crisis mode contacting the broker to make sure I didn't screw up and book a load for a flatbed Thankfully I was right in my thought process and just overwhelmed myself for no reason haha Kept it cool as a cucumber on the outside while dying quietly on the inside

Sat around for quite a while waiting to be loaded so I made the most of the time and was able to start the unpacking process (making beds, restocking cubbies, all the fun stuff that goes into prepping to hit the road).

We got loaded and are now waiting our turn to pull out of the shipper....Lots and lots of unpaid waiting

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We sure enjoyed sleeping in our bed and showering without shower shoes

I'll be posting along the way about a few things that I've been brainstorming on over this weekend!

Remember to thank a driver (a kind smile and wave makes all the difference), use that blinker and give these big iron horses plenty of room to roam while out on the road!
