On to the next load

Virago Transport LLC is sitting for the night after our delivery today. Spent the afternoon/evening combing the load boards and they were all offering the cheapest rate possible...The down side to trucking...

To give an example of the struggle bus owner operators face, a load posted and the broker let the actual cost of the load slip, which was about 50% of what they were offering...50%... All the work and expense is on the driver, and the broker pushes some buttons on the keyboard, while we drive across country, pay for fuel/maintenance/payroll, etc, and do the backbreaking work.

Thankfully we are closer to our 60 day age of authority (the first 60 days are the hardest and honestly I'm surprised we pulled the loads we have with our "newbie" status), which will open up more broker options.
